Olive oil: Ceraudo’s olive oil is an award-winning, organically produced oil. It has a fruity aroma and a slightly bitter taste. It is spicy, with an aftertaste of almond and rosemary. Our decision to harvest the olives earlier imposes a decrease in yield from a quantitative point of view, but allows us to obtain an extraordinary oil, characterized by excellent quality and low acidity.
Rice: for your gourmet risotto, we have chosen Riso Buono, produced by Barons Guidobono Cavalchini. Our selection includes both: Carnaroli rice, one of the rice varieties favoured by great chefs for its excellent performance during slow cooking; and Artemide rice, a whole grain rice, aromatic, black in colour, and one of the healthiest rice varieties on the market today, rich in B vitamins, minerals such as calcium, selenium, zinc, magnesium and iron, and even more antioxidants called anthocyanins than red fruit.
